Mayor Boone Bowling elected to KLC Board of Directors

The Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) elected Middlesboro Mayor Boone Bowling to serve on its Board of Directors. This is Mayor Bowling’s first term on the board, which is responsible for setting the League’s legislative agenda and advocating for the needs of Kentucky cities. Voters elected Mayor Bowling to the Middlesboro City Council when he was 23. He became mayor in 2022 at the age of 27, one of the youngest individuals to hold such a position in the state.

Chaney. “His enthusiasm, innovative ideas, and passion for public service are exactly what our organization needs as we continue to advocate for Kentucky’s cities. His unique perspective and dedication to his community will be invaluable assets to the League and our efforts to support strong local governance across the state.”
