Is there anything more exciting than an unexpected score while out shopping? If you’re thrifting, it's known as the “thrill of the thrift.” But what about when you find an unbeatable deal while shopping at your average department store?

Silly quips aside, one of the greatest feelings is finding a traditionally high-priced product suddenly existing within your budget. No sales, no gimmicks—just your dream pieces sitting there looking cute and affordable as ever. Those who fancy the French brand Le Creuset should know this feeling all too well, as the company makes some of the most sought after kitchenware in the business with prices that can sometimes be just out of reach for many.

The thing with Le Creuset—and plenty of other high-quality brands for that matter—is that sometimes, you just need to know where to look. Those with experience shopping for kitchenware have most likely seen plenty of affordable Le Creuset alternatives at their favorite department stores. But thanks to the dedicated sleuth work of one kitchenware-loving Redditor, we now know where to start building our own Le Creuset collection while on a budget: T.J. Maxx.

You Maxxinista’s better get your weekly budgets in order because this is one opportunity worth taking advantage of ahead of the holidays. While shopping for deals at their local T.J. Maxx , Reddit user Recent_Scientist_805 stumbled upon one of the greatest deals in recent T.J. Maxx history. With a reported total of $87 spent, the excited Redditor took to the platform to show off a collection of six mugs and two bowls—a worthy haul for any fan of the French brand.

“Racing to my local TJ’s/Homegoods to try and find those green bowls,” exclaimed one ecstatic commenter, while another declared it an “insane score!”

One commenter chimed in to mention, “I have that green mixing bowl and I absolutely love it!” They continued, “Literally use it every day in my cooking routine.”

Having just this single Reddit post to rely on, we are not entirely sure if any other Le Creuset pieces are currently available at T.J. Maxx. It is also unclear which locations are currently carrying the Le Creuset brand. Lake Success in Long Island is where this collection was initially discovered, so the hunt is now officially on. But that is part of the excitement, right? Turning a normal department store outing into somewhat of a thrifting adventure.
