San Francisco 49ers superstar tight end George Kittle wasn't in Los Angeles last Sunday for his team's loss against the Rams.

Kittle, who missed the game due to a hamstring injury, watched the 49ers' game from home. And while he was disappointed to not be on the sideline with his teammates, he enjoyed watching the TV copy of the game in part because he got to see the emotion that former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jauan Jennings plays the game with.

Jennings had a huge game for the 49ers against the Rams, catching 11 passes for 175 yards and three touchdowns in the 27-24 loss.

"That was really fun, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Jauan," said Kittle when asked about Jennings' big game. "It was just fun. You miss [being] on the sideline, I hate not being there....but being able to watch the TV copy, the close-ups on his (Jennings) emotions and stuff like that, I see that every day in person. But to be able to see how the world gets to see it was a very cool experience. Because you see how much that guy loves the game, how he competes, how good of a player he is, so that part was fun."

Jennings is quickly becoming one of the most respected players in the NFL because of the way he plays the game. And he's proved that he can come up in big moments in important games ( like in the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs last season). It's easy to see why the 49ers gave Jennings a contract extension earlier this year.

The former Vol will look look to keep it going on Sunday against the New England Patriots.
