Menlo Park is looking for input from parents of children aged 0-12 years, who live or work in Menlo Park. The survey results will help guide city decisions about childcare and early learning in Menlo Park.The survey will remain open until Oct. 12. The survey data is anonymous and responses will be kept confidential, according to Kedra Calvert, a spokesperson for Menlo Park. “The purpose of the survey is to understand the community’s needs for child care,” said Calvert. “The information gathered will be publicly available to all community members.”Residents can take the survey at publicinput.com/childcaresurvey. Questions about the survey can be emailed to Natalya Jones, the director of Menlo Park’s child care programs at nrjones@menlopark.gov.— Eleanor Raab<h2>Woodside Priory art show: Eucalyptus Speaks!, Oct. 5</h2>From Sept. 27 to Nov. 1, artist Terrance McLarnan will be exhibiting an art show titled “Eucalyptus Speaks!” at Kriewall-Haehl Gallery at Woodside Priory School, 302 Portola Road in Portola Valley. The opening reception will be from 1-4 p.m. on Oct. 5. McLarnan uses a photographic process to explore the space between paintings and photography to create organically found shapes. The forum is an opportunity for the community to learn about the board candidates and their views before Election Day. There are two candidates running for the two year seat: Shauna Smith and Paige Winikoff.
