Yadkin County Solid Waste Transfer Station operating at limited capacity

Yadkin County has issued the following statement in regard to the county landfill.

"Due to inclement weather, the Transfer Station on Landfill Rd. will be operating at limited capacity. Our receiving facility in Caldwell County has closed for the remainder of the day. Once the Transfer Station reaches capacity we will not be able to accept any further waste. If possible, please delay bringing waste until we are back to full capacity.

"If you must bring waste, the convenience sites will operate on a regular schedule through the weekend until they reach capacity. If this changes, the County will issue notice through social media and our website, www.yadkincountync.gov.
