Young and the Restless Spoilers: Heather's Ex Frames Sharon, Shows Up During Her Backout

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) grapples with remorse after a disastrous encounter with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Sharon believes she may have killed Heather, but a memory lapse leaves her uncertain about her actual involvement.

The show could have easily depicted Sharon accidentally killing Heather in a simple altercation.

Sharon remembers pushing Heather down, briefly knocking her out. Heather then regained consciousness, calling Sharon crazy. After that, Sharon blacked out, later waking to find Heather lifeless with a deadly head injury.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon could have unintentionally killed Heather with the initial fall. The show deliberately created a crucial time gap, so Sharon can't recall what happened in the penthouse, suggesting someone else might have shown up.

If so, who could have harmed Heather? What if someone else killed her in a fit of obsessive, angry passion?

This brings to mind Heather's ex-boyfriend from Portugal. Initially, Heather turned down Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) because of this new relationship. She later changed her mind, deciding to fight for a future with Daniel.

Heather downplayed the relationship when asked about her Portuguese ex, calling him a safe choice who wouldn't hurt her. But what if he wasn't so harmless—and what if he reacted badly to feeling used?

Heather's ex might have been fixated on winning her back and lashed out terribly when rejected.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Heather had a law school friend who set up a job interview for her in town. Heather left for this supposed interview shortly before returning to the apartment. This could have been a cover-up.

What if her law school friend was actually helping her Portuguese ex arrange a surprise reunion?

Heather's ex was also a lawyer, so maybe it was his law school friend. Perhaps Heather was caught off guard by her former flame and had to firmly reject him. After Heather came home, her ex-boyfriend might have followed her.

She Knows Soaps reports that he could have entered while Sharon was unconscious – or he might even be the reason Sharon blacked out if she can't remember him hitting her.

From there, Heather's ex might have ended her life and walked out, leaving Sharon to face the consequences. In his mind, it would have been the perfect crime. The show has a history of introducing troublesome exes to spice up the plot.

We've seen Amanda Sinclair's (Mishael Morgan) abusive former partner, Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), and Diane Jenkins-Abbott's (Susan Walters) threatening ex-flame, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).

Heather's ex could be the next unexpected villain if he took her life and let Sharon believe she was at fault. The bottom line is that Sharon's memory lapse is highly suspicious, suggesting someone else might be the real culprit.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Heather's ex could be the real killer. That would mean Sharon is innocent. However, she will likely believe she ended Heather's life due to her memory loss.
