Lee Corso Eyes Continued Headgear Success in Tuscaloosa on 'College GameDay'

While 89-year-old Lee Corso may not be as involved in " College GameDay " as he once was, he remains a cornerstone of the program and arguably the best predictor on the panel this season.

According to the latest ESPN press release , Corso is set to make his 418th career headgear selection, as the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs take on the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide .

Corso has selected Alabama in headgear picks 37 times, making it his second most frequent choice. In contrast, he has picked Georgia in 13 games, having an 8-5 record with those selections.

Boasting an impressive all-time record of 278-139. Notably, he has picked the last six games correctly, dating back to the SEC Championship last season. His current win percentage is 66.75% in his career.

So far this year, Corso is 4-0 (not counting Week Zero) and is coming off a successful prediction that the Tennessee Volunteers would defeat the Oklahoma Sooners , which they did.

He was the only panelist to select the Notre Dame Fighting Irish over Texas A&M in Week 1, and to top it off, he also correctly predicted Vanderbilt's upset over Virginia Tech —once again, the only one on the panel to do so.

However, this may be his toughest game to pick yet, as both Georgia and Alabama enter the matchup undefeated. The line, according to DraftKings Sportsbook , has fluctuated between two and three points all week, making it nearly a 'pick 'em' game, but I'm sure Corso is up for the challenge as he looks to keep his undefeated streak alive.
