Tennessee Vols' Josh Heupel mentions whether he's going to watch the Georgia-Alabama clash this weekend

There's a massive clash coming on Saturday night in Tuscaloosa between the #2 Georgia Bulldogs and the #4 Alabama Crimson Tide.  Undoubtedly the biggest game of college football so far this young season, and one that the entire country will have their eyes on Saturday night.

That should especially be the case on Saturday night for Josh Heupel and his staff.  After all, the Tennessee Vols are one of few programs that have drawn both of the juggernauts on their schedule for years and do so again this season.  Auburn has been the other such unfortunate program.

However, while Heupel did mention during his press conference that he'd watch "a little bit" of it, he also indicated he'll have other things going on that day.

"I have not planned my Saturday yet with my kids. At some point, I'll sit down and watch some ball, and I assume I'll get a chance to watch a little bit of that one. Hopefully, my daughter takes me out on the golf course and beats up on me."

Family time is always important, and during football season its surely few and far between for Heupel and his coaches as they grind through the toughest months of their respective year.  As such, if Heupel can get out onto the golf course and do other things with family, then he's the better for it.

Of course, as Heupel also mentioned during his press conference , recruiting never stops, and that's something - along with an emphasis on getting more efficient on both sides of the ball - that he's focused on during this bye week.

Still, it's a game that the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide are both going to give everything they have to win.  No holding back plays or strategies.  As such, even though Heupel and his staff will obviously have tape for their respective games during game week, there could be some nuggets that they can get an advanced look at and store away for later.

One has to believe Heupel will likely watch more than "a little bit" to see who wins, but perhaps not until after his daughter has already delivered an "L" for the day.
