Before last Friday’s contest against Green River, their banner read, “It’s OK to not be OK. Call 988” The 988 number was established in 2021, replacing a much longer 1-800 number. 988 is a toll-free number with certified crisis center representatives that provide suicide prevention and intervention services to those in need. The lifeline also has opportunities to text and chat online for anyone in need. For more information about 988, click here. The Riverton spirit squad will be back at it Friday night for the Wolverines varsity football contest against Douglas.
