    no hotel i summered their as a kid and the boardwalk was magical. a hotel going in is just the first step to a liquor license. get the hotel in then when business doesnt boom then they will definitely look to have the liquor laws changed, and by then the old timers will be gone and the new young generation will swoop in and change it. think about it. there is nothing to do on the island for young adults or adults but the beach. so no boardwalk attractions (food is great but riding the rides all lit up at night was awesome), no bars, then why would people go there when there are other towns up and down the coast . OC with out that stuff is a boring town,and as i mentioned once the old timers leave it will be bar heaven. this is all a rouse to get what they want.
