Lewes Historical Society's Crafts and Crafts Festival to highlight art, food and beer Oct. 5-6

LEWES — Celebrate all things “craft” at the Lewes Historical Society’s Crafts & Crafts Festival on Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., featuring more than 50 local and regional artisans on its grounds at 110 Shipcarpenter St.

Demonstrations include dying cloth using a goldenrod dye, basket weaving, making a resin montage, glassblowing, plein-air painting, weaving, collage art and wood turning among others. Workshops, conducted by the Developing Artists Collaboration from Rehoboth, give participants the opportunity to create their own art with guidance.
