Nick Sirianni says Eagles rookie 'won't be phased' up against Buccaneers' star WR duo

It's only been three weeks, however. Philadelphia Eagles f irst-round pick Quinyon Mitchell has looked like a veteran playing in the NFL.

In three games so far, Mitchell has logged 12 tackles (nine solo) and five passes defended.

He faces a tough task in Week 4 against Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver duo Chris Godwin and Mike Evans and head coach Nick Sirianni is well aware of that as he uses those two guys endlessly on "teach tape."

"Both guys have been highly productive throughout their entire career. What Mike Evans has done is truly remarkable in my mind -- what is he 10 seasons in a row with 1,000 yards? That, to me, is kind of unheard of. Who else has done that? Truly remarkable the way he plays the game. I've always been a big fan of how he plays. Catches the ball extremely well, extremely physical. Extremely consistent. And then Godwin he moves around being able to play in the slot, wherever, he's just a versatile wide receiver that's had a lot of success in the slot. They create challenges because they're big-time players."

The Bucs' star tandem has combined for 373 yards and five touchdowns so far.

While Evans and Godwin create a tough matchup ahead, Sirianni believes Mitchell can shut them down --more like, he can shut anyone down.

"We'll have to be on it," Sirianni continued. "Like I said, Q doesn't react. Q gets to go against AJ and DeVonta every day. And Q is a guy that is not phased by the moment. So, this is a big moment in his career but I know he'll be ready to play and won't be phase."
