3 teens sought in Central Park gunpoint robbery

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD are searching for three teens accused of attacking and robbing a man in Central Park at gunpoint late Thursday night, authorities said.

According to officials, at around 11:30 p.m., a 27-year-old man was near 102nd Street and East Drive when one of the teens pulled a gun before the trio took his phone, wallet, and e-bike.

The crew also struck the man in the head before fleeing the scene westbound on East 102nd Street.

The victim refused medical attention.

The suspects are believed to be 16 to 18 years old.

So far, there have been no arrests made and an investigation is ongoing.
