Goodyear childcare center hosts grand opening

Busy Bees childcare celebrated the grand opening of its Palm Valley location, its first purpose-built school in North America on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The event took place at 14070 West Van Buren Street and was attended by local officials, community members, and the development team.

“This beautiful building was designed specifically to provide the best in early years care and education. It is truly a space that engages our young children and encourages them to learn and grow at every stage,” said Mary Ann Curran, Chief Executive Officer of Busy Bees North America.

Attendees inclueded community members andpublic officials like State Representative Mariana Sandoval, Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo, Vice Mayor Laura Kaino, Council Members Wally Campbell and Brannon Hampton.

“We stood on this site nearly a year ago as we broke ground on this facility and what a pleasure it is to see the dream become reality,” Pizzillo said. “We are happy to know Busy Bees is filling a great need in our community.”

Attendees enjoyed refreshments, met the Busy Bees mascot, and toured the new facility. They also learned about the school’s proprietary BeeCurious Curriculum designed for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
