(WJAC) — This weekend, one of the biggest high school wrestling events in the nation is coming to Johnstown.On Sunday, FloWrestling’s number one competition will be held at Pitt-Johnstown, featuring the best high school wrestlers in the nation.FloWrestling handpicks the top two wrestlers they can find at each weight class to wrestle for bragging rights, and four locals will be featured in this year’s event.Jordyn Fouse, Melvin Miller, Jax Forrest and Bo Bassett are all preparing to compete this weekend.All four are state champions and will all be representing Bishop McCort.Bassett says an opportunity like this is rare.“I believe the record before this is maybe two, maybe two. And so, to have four, more than double the record of all time and have it in the home city, it just kept getting better. And when they announced it was in Johnstown. The energy has been high ever since. So, we're excited. Sunday, we're going to go out there and have some fun and score some points,” Bassett said.Sophomore Melvin Miller says the Crushers’ success is because of the work they put in."The stuff we do in this room is not normal. If other people came and tried to do it for a week, most people wouldn't last,” Miller stated.The four are used to competing all across the nation, but Jordyn Fouse says this competition is different."I haven't had this big an event to prepare for in my hometown. So, the energy in the room is just insane,” Fouse said.The girls are set to start wrestling at 2 p.m. on Sunday and the boys at 5 p.m.</div></body>
