Bride Perfectly Incorporates Australian Shepherd Into Her Wedding in Most Fitting Way

Since dogs are such a big part of our lives and our hearts, it seems crazy to get married without them being there — it's like leaving a member of the family off the guest list! And while many people are able to make it happen so that their dog is able to be present for the ceremony, a lot of times, it's simply not possible. Between rules about venues, guests' animal allergies, and the logistics of it all (not to mention each dog's personality and health), it's not always easy to pull off. But surely, there's a way to include your dog even if they can't be there physically to witness your vows, right?

The answer to that question is yes. In fact, there are tons of ways to involve your dog in your wedding. But it's the one that this bride used to make sure her Australian Shepherd got to be a part of the festivities that's really taking off on TikTok.

Earlier this month, @danielle_strahan shared the creative way she ensured that everyone at the wedding would keep her Australian Shepherd , Levi, at the front of their minds during the nuptials: the table numbers.

First, she did a little photoshoot with Levi in the grass, where he posed with a chalkboard sign that showed each number, 1 through 16 (this must be a big wedding!). Not all dogs would be willing to pose like this, but Levi killed it — he's such a star.

After printing the pictures, she classed them up by putting each one in a golden frame, and now they're ready and waiting to be used on the tables at her reception.

This is genius, and plenty of commenters seem to agree. One person wrote, "I don’t even want to get married and I 100% just would for this."

Fair enough! And not only does she have the joy of involving Levi in her wedding, but she's also going to bring so much joy to her guests who get to look at these adorable photos at their table.

How to Represent Your Dog at Your Wedding

These brilliant table numbers aren't the only way to make sure your dog is present on your big day!

At my wedding, I brought my cat, Rapunzel, to the place where I got ready and my photographers met me there to snap a couple of photos of the two of us together before we left for the venue — those pictures are now some of my favorites. One of my close friends had gifted me a framed watercolor painting of my dog, Chocolate, who had died a year earlier, and I placed it in a prominent area of the reception so that she could be with us, too.

There are plenty of other ways to represent your pets, too. Some people like to name their signature drinks after their pets, include them in their wedding photos before an assigned human brings them back home, or supply dog treats as wedding favors so that the dogs of their guests will get a treat for the occasion, too.

The possibilities are endless, and these table numbers are a great place to start.
