Much of Chautauqua County has seen more color change on its leaves during this first week of fall. According to the latest I Love NY Fall Foliage report, leaves are at 20% change with average to bright orange and yellow along Lake Erie and Chautauqua Lake, as well as at Chautauqua Institution and the City of Jamestown. Meanwhile, most of Cattaraugus County is reported to be at 25% change, with maroon and orange hues, while Allegany State Park is at greater than 30% change with individual maple trees showing some color, particularly in the picnic areas.
