I was with Dish for over 25 years, by far the hopper is the best DVR, however, the cost just got to high, their is no reason I should pay for locals channels, just like business taxes, all these carriers fees are just pass onto the customer, and when customers like me had enough, we cancel. Plus with fast internet, their is no reason for this service, people who do not have good internet or OTA will being paying a lot more.

I dumped cable in 2002 or so and went to direct TV. it was great back then. now just stream because 📡 and cable are now the same type of rip off.
