I certainly hope everyone’s been enjoying their time in Natlan, the beautiful nation of Pyro, because there’s still so much left of it to experience, with the next patch arriving soon, named The Rainbow Destined to Burn. <i>Genshin Impact’s</i> 5.1 patch will expand on the thrilling story that started in Natlan, add in a new 5-Star character, and have quite a collection of events and rewards to look forward to.</p><p>First and foremost, here are the codes from the livestream:</p><p>XSME6NV4GX2Z</p><p>KALF66CLGXKM</p><p>PT5WP6D5GXJ9</p><p>Things were getting pretty spicy already in the Natlan plot, and without spoilers, to say things aren’t looking great for the nation of Pyro would be an understatement. Quite a plan is cooking, with Mauvuika handling a lot of behind-the-scenes heavy lifting and needing the help of a certain forging expert. With a need for an Ancient Name, the best around in getting one made is also going to be our only new character this patch.</p><figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=1u8dfx_0vmY6cYV00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1u8dfx_0vmY6cYV00" width="700" height="360" ></figure><p>Xilonen, a highly regarded smith and Name Engraver for the Nanatzcayan, will arrive as a 5-Star Geo Sword user. Focused and diligent, Xilonen makes constant use of her roller skates and headphones for quite a fight at the disco, turning to music to keep steady and pressing onwards. Her main mobility gimmick is indeed her roller skates, letting her skate up sheer cliff walls without issue, and she even has a special way to keep perched on whatever surface she feels like resting on! If you want to take in the scenery for Natlan, she’s a go-to. But that doesn’t mean she can’t put the hurt out, using something called Geo Samplers in battle. If you have other characters in your team that are Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro, these three Geo Samplers will reduce the Elemental Resistance of nearby enemies once they’re active by entering the Nightsoul’s Blessing state. If you have at least 2 of these Samplers that are running off a different Element, her normal attacks will give the Nightsoul points she needs to get them turned on in the first place. This all said, she still has good form and function for Geo-only teams, as her Normal and Plunging attacks both get damage buffs. With a talent that lets Nightsoul Transmissions restore Phlogiston and a Burst that can restore other party members’ HP with other Elements mingled in the Sampler platter, Xilonen is shaping up to be quite the one-woman show leading the 5.1 charge.</p><p>While there’s only one new 5-Star, that means reruns, and you can see the full details of the banners below:</p><p>Phase 1: Xilonen (5-Star Geo Sword), Chiori (5-Star Geo Sword)</p><p>Phase 2: Nahida (5-Star Dendro Catalyst), Hu Tao (5-Star Pyro Polearm)</p><p>As usual, their respective weapons will be available on the Weapon Banner, and Xilonen’s story quest will also be available come 5.1. There’ll also be some new 4-Star weapons to look forward to come 5.1.</p><figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=1t2EMN_0vmY6cYV00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1t2EMN_0vmY6cYV00" width="700" height="328" ></figure><p>Keep in mind that there’s still the incentive to get the main plot rolling, with 500 extra Primogems waiting for those who get the main plot quest done for this patch (Archon Quest Act III and Act IV). There’ll also be a new boss you’ll want to pester for materials, called the Secret Source Constructor, based on the very peculiar new Ruin enemies in Natlan.</p><p>Putting the serious stuff aside, there are a few events going on this time around, but the big one is the Sabzeruz Festival over in Sumeru! The streets will be coming alive as the birthday of Lesser Lord Kusanali comes ’round, with Travelers getting to reunite with fan favorite Sumeru characters Dehya, Tighnari, and Collei. The party doesn’t stop there either; there’s quite a collection of small events and minigames coming up during the festival. Rocking Carriage will feature a three-lane endless runner minigame where you navigate a carriage around obstacles. With Interreflection of Reality and Dreams, you’ll enter dreamy spot-the-differences puzzles featuring classic <i>Genshin Impact</i> locales. And what’s a big ol’ event in Genshin without some combat trials, coming in fresh with Shadow of the Knight’s Blade!</p><p>Past that, there are a few other extra events to look forward to:</p><ul><li>Aphid Treasure Trace – Xilonen and the Traveler will track down Phlogiston Aphids for capture.</li><li>Feast of Pursuit – Special combat challenges with various difficulties and quirks</li><li>Reminiscent Regimen: Thrill – Party-game style challenges with 4-Player co-op</li></ul><p>There are going to be updates to Envisaged Echoes, with Zhongli and Keqing being the next to get their Echoes (cool trailing effects for when the characters run). Genius Invokation will also have Chiori, the Erumite Floral Ring-Dancer, and Abyss Lector: Violet Lightning joining as character cards alongside other new cards of various types.
