Symons picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win over Wyoming's Eugenia Ceinos.On the doubles side, Young and senior transfer Marjorie Souza defeated Niyati Kukreti and Indya Nespor of Utah State, 6-3, in the first round of Flight B. Symons and sophomore transfer Julia Visaya also bested a USU duo, taking down Natalie Paterova and Kylee Sperry 6-3, in Flight C.Both Ducks doubles pairs dropped their second-round matchups later in the day.After falling in their opening-round doubles match, Daughters picked up her second overall victory of the day with partner Tilde Jagare, as the pair got by Air Force's Carissa Holguin/Charisse Tigrado, 6-3, in Flight F.Saturday's action gets going at 8 a.m. PT and will feature two rounds of singles with one round of doubles.
