. . . as traveling professionals I believe these nurses are committed to the job at hand and what's in front of them. They are contract professionals. Once their contract expires they either will be taking a break, or off to their next hospital assignment. They don't have that dedicated commitment to the hospital, the patients, their colleagues, the community or the State. They are great professional temp nurses . . . and I'm grateful for them and I'm not disparaging their efforts or professionalism. But, we need to stand by our own over-worked nurse's and insure they are well treated, respected and compensated . . . quality comes with a price, who wants to forfeit quality for mediocrity and profits . . . 😎
