As Angela proudly shared her latest endeavor, many fans flooded the comments section—but instead of focusing on her project, some raised concerns about her safety due to her relationship with rapper Yo Gotti.

The comments reveal a deep concern for Angela, with some fans urging her to reconsider her relationship. One user, @yrndwight, commented bluntly, “They gonna get your boo Yo Gotti. Girl, you got such bad taste,” while another user, @spades_33, warned, “Angela Simmons, you better think about you and your child. Get away from Gotti.” Other fans jumped to her defense, like @honey_luuv, who called out the critics, writing, “Anyone who commented about Gotti sounds like a real-life 🤡.” Despite the divided opinions, the central theme of concern for Angela’s well-being was clear, with @254kenyan_doll stating, “The thugged-out life ain’t for you.”

While some might brush off these comments as overreactions, there is an undeniable tension linked to Yo Gotti’s family. Yo Gotti is known not just for his music but also for a long-standing feud with fellow rapper Young Dolph, who was tragically murdered in a shooting in November 2021.

During the September 2024 murder trial of rapper Young Dolph, prosecutors alleged that Yo Gotti's brother, Big Jook (Brandon Mims), placed a $100,000 hit on Dolph. The hit was reportedly part of tensions between Dolph and Yo Gotti’s CMG camp. Prosecutors linked Big Jook to suspects Cornelius Smith and Justin Johnson, accused of carrying out the murder.

In court Smith testified that he and Johnson carried out the murder. Smith also stated he only received $800 out of the $40,000 he was promised.

Smith claims he knew Johnson for a "few months" prior to the shooting. Smith alleges he and Johnson were supposed to receive $40,000 each, while Hernandez Govan, the alleged mastermind behind the operation, would get $20,000.

On September 26, Jones was found guilty of the murder of Young Dolph and now awaits sentencing.

No Response From Angela

Angela has yet to respond to the wave of comments under her post. So far, her interactions with Yo Gotti on social media have been nothing but supportive, with both sharing affectionate moments on their accounts. Still, the wave of concern from fans suggests that many worry about the rapper’s dangerous associations and how they might impact her life and the life of her son.
