J.M. Biggs: Who will speak the truth?

This word is to my whole congregation on Facebook (my page) and the newspapers. As I have said before, I don’t have friends on Facebook or the newspaper, but a congregation. With these outlets, I speak to drug addicts, drug dealers, whoremongers, adulterers, liars, thieves, alcoholics, the homeless, witches and warlocks, the sick, the hopeless, the LGBTQ and the church.

Let me start by saying I love all of you so much. That is why I preach the things that I do. I don’t want you to miss Heaven, the greatest thing God has created. Nor do I want you to go to hell, the worst thing he has created.

I have sacrificed everything to speak to you the whole truth of the gospel. I have lost so much. A lot of my family and friends think that I have lost my mind. Some think I have gone too far or have added to the gospel. They say, “How can somebody that I grew up with, and have known for so long, preach such things?”

It’s simple. When you allow yourself to be crucified with Christ, and allow him to be your Lord and savior, all things are possible. The problem is, the sinner man does not want to give up the world and the church does not want to suffer to become holy. You will never be saved (born again) unless you desire to give up sin, nor will a saint ever be like Jesus if they are not willing to suffer. It is spoken all over the New Testament how the saints must suffer like Jesus Christ. Suffering keeps you running after Jesus. It makes you whole.

You know, more and more, every day, I see the gospel of Christ being compromised. Sometimes I wonder what they will allow or bring into the church next. In some churches almost anything goes, and it is getting worse. Where is the holy church? Is there anybody willing to live totally as the Bible says?

Now you know why it is so hard to reach our children and loved ones. Though we are supposed to be saved, they see our compromise. They see how we walk, talk and dress no different from them. They see how we talk to our spouses any kind of way and think that it’s all right. They see how we live one way in the church and another outside of it.

I am so afraid of what the Lord is about to allow on this earth to wake up his church and the sinner man. Church, the world needs us so bad. What happened to the hope in Christ that we are supposed to be giving them?

Let us all make up our minds to give up compromise. Let’s all decide to live holy. Jesus is coming, but so many people are dying without him. The Bible declares: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:15-18.

Let’s all make God proud of us.
