    Roundup: Sussex Central tops Woodbridge; Caesar Rodney, Dover both fall

    Sussex Central High stayed unbeaten with a 31-14 victory over Woodbridge in high school football on Friday night.

    The Class 3A Golden Knights are now 4-0 overall after handing the Class 2A Blue Raiders (3-1) their first loss of the season.

    Saint Mark’s 31, Caesar Rodney 14: The Riders dropped to 1-3 after falling in the matchup of Class 3A teams on Friday.

    The Spartans improved to 3-1.

    Appoquinimink 21, Smyrna 12: The unbeaten Jaguars are now 4-0 after downing the Eagles on Friday.

    Smyrna fell to 1-3 after the setback.

    Odessa 21, Sussex Tech 18, OT: The Ducks (1-3) earned their first win of the season after overcoming an 18-0 deficit.

    Odessa kicked a field goal in overtime before Sussex Tech (3-1) missed a kick on the final play of the night.

    Salesianum 56, Dover 0: The Sals (3-1) avenged last season’s loss to the Senators by rolling to the victory in Wilmington.

    Dover, which is now 0-3 this season, trailed 29-0 in the first quarter and 49-0 at halftime. Aiden Lego ran for three touchdowns for Sallies.

    Seaford 64, Early College 0: The Blue Jays earned the Class 1A District II win by shutout.
