The hottest team in the desert? Don't look now but it's the Desert Christian Academy Conquerors.

Desert Christian Academy went on the road and trounced California Military Institute 39-0 on Friday for its fourth consecutive win, the longest active streak in the desert.

Top tailback Elijah Mawhiney had another solid night with three touchdown runs. Cash Scott added a pair of touchdowns and Judah Garrison added another as the Conquerors offense was clicking, while the defense pitched a shutout.

This was a Manzanita League game and the Conquerors are now 2-0 in league play and 4-1 overall.

Desert Christian Academy hosts San Jacinto Valley Academy in another league game Friday.
