I am a woodworker and I’ve built a complete custom kitchen for our first house and I am in the process of refacing our current kitchen cabinets. I can tell you that it is much better to replace the cabinets over refacing them. Refacing doesn’t save very much money, if you’re paying someone to do it, because it is time intensive and it doesn’t fix any issues the cabinets have.
