Conor McGregor unleashes on Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight rules and stadium choice

Conor McGregor ripped into Mike Tyson and Jake Paul 's controversial boxing fight - and couldn't believe it was picked to be staged at the AT&T Stadium.

The outspoken MMA icon, 36, was particularly animated during a Friday night livestream with Duelbits where he unloaded on Tyson and Paul's fight and even claimed that Terence Crawford ran scared from a fight with him.

McGregor didn't hold back in his commentary about the upcoming November 15 bout, which has drawn criticism for the significant age difference between the competitors, with Tyson stepping into the ring at 58 to face YouTuber Paul, who is 31 years his junior.

McGregor took aim at the fight's regulations, which stipulate two-minute rounds and the use of heavier 14oz gloves, during the raucous live session. The animated UFC star shouted: "Mike Tyson, this is your stock," while holding a joint. "I don't give a b*****s. They're wearing 14oz gloves and it's two-minute rounds. Who gives a b******s?"

With the event set to take place at AT&T Stadium, home to the Dallas Cowboys and capable of accommodating over 100,000 spectators, McGregor openly questioned the legitimacy of the venue choice for the fight, reports the Mirror .

The former UFC two-time division champion concluded with a blunt wish for Tyson: "I hope Mike rattles the little dope, no one gives a f*** about him. How is that even in the f***ing Dallas stadium?" The anticipated fight was supposed to take place on July 20 but was pushed back when Tyson faced a bout of ulcer trouble mid-flight.

McGregor, who plans to make a UFC comeback in 2025 and has been seen training in social media videos, complimented the boxing legend's recovery: "You had a little health scare, I don't know what happened to you on the plane but you look great now mate, you look great now for real so off you go, you love to see it," he added.

The Irish fighter also revealed plans regarding his own fighting career, as he said that there were discussions about him taking on boxing superstar Crawford in a unique double-feature fight scenario.

Per McGregor, the plan pitched one battle in the octagon and another in the boxing ring, though he mentioned the undefeated boxer seemed hesitant about taking kicks from an MMA pro. "Crawford is very slick. He also has a wrestling pedigree," McGregor said. "You know, they are always talking to me about belts, I've already boxed a boxer. The boxer in MMA is me.

"We're talking back and forth like a two-fight deal, he rings up Crawford in front of me. I said 'Crawford they're talking here about you and me two fight deal, MMA first, boxing second'. I said 'I know you've got an extensive background and balls the size of a Bengali tiger. They're asking for a fight.

"It's going to be hundreds of millions on the line what's up? ' And he goes 'I don't want to take a kick off Conor McGregor' - so you've got to respect that."

McGregor is anticipated to make a comeback to the octagon next year, following his recovery from a broken toe he suffered earlier this summer. This injury led to him pulling out of his scheduled fight against Michael Chandler.
