Donna Kelce Shares Travis Kelce's Unfiltered Reaction to Meeting Prince William

We can always count on Donna Kelce to give us the flat-out truth about her son, Travis Kelce .

The mother of the NFL superstar spoke out in a new interview this week, where she spilled the tea on Travis' royal encounter with Prince William over the summer.

Travis, 34, previously got to meet William, 42, backstage at one of his girlfriend Taylor Swift 's Eras Tour concerts in London back in June. Not only did the couple get to snap a selfie with the future king, but they also got to meet two children of his children with wife Kate Middleton : Prince George , 11, and Princess Charlotte , 9. (The Prince and Princess of Wales are also parents to a younger son, Prince Louis , 6.)

And according to Travis' mom, the Kansas City Chiefs player had a wholesome reaction to the surreal experience.

Speaking to Extra in an interview published Thursday, Sept. 26, Donna recalled her son telling her, "When you meet people like that, you know when the royals come in or Paul McCartney or Hugh Grant ....somebody's in the suite, you're just like, who in this picture doesn't fit? Why am I here and why am I even allowed to talk to these individuals? It just doesn't seem right."

Nonetheless, Donna, 71, still thinks her son has done a good job getting accustomed to his VIP status lately .

"I think he's handling it pretty well, he's a pretty friendly guy," she said about the star tight end, who seems to be having no problem balancing the newfound level of stardom he's reached since sparking up a romance with the "Cruel Summer" songstress.

During that same stop in London, Travis even joined Taylor on stage to make his Eras Tour debut in front of a sold-out crowd at Wembley Stadium.

“He’s always been one to be, you know, in the limelight,” Donna also said about her son during the interview , adding that he “loves attention,” and is “always dancing, always joking around, always having fun things done.”
