CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – After days of stormy weather from Tropical Storm Helene, the Charleston area finally sees clear skies and improving conditions.

Saturday’s forecast brings mostly sunny skies with temperatures climbing into the 80s during the day, while the evening will cool off with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s.

With dew points in the comfortable 60s, it’s a perfect time to head to the beach or enjoy outdoor activities.

“You’re looking good to go to the beach or head outside,” meteorologist Grace Lowe reports, signaling that the storm’s aftermath is behind us.

Looking ahead, Charleston is expected to enjoy a nice stretch of sunny, warm weather next week, offering locals and visitors a much-needed break after the disruption of the tropical system.
