In 51 games last season, Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry had a 19-25-5 record.

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry is scheduled to make his debut this preseason in Saturday’s road game against the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena.

According to coach Mike Sullivan, Jarry and backup Filip Larsson are expected to split duties in order to get each player some playing time.

Last season, Jarry played in 51 games and had a 19-25-5 record, a 2.91 goals-against average, .903 save percentage and six shutouts.

Larsson, an unrestricted free agent signing this past offseason, has appeared in one game this preseason. During a 7-3 road loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Sept. 21, Larsson replaced starter Joel Blomqvist and made 18 saves on 18 shots during 34 minutes, 34 seconds of ice time.
