Urban Meyer is all-in on the Travis Hunter hype, praising Colorado's two-way star ahead of Saturday’s showdown with UCF.

Hunter has been instrumental in Colorado’s impressive 3-1 start, playing nearly every snap. His versatility took center stage during the Buffaloes' thrilling overtime win against Baylor.

On offense, Hunter hauled in seven catches for 130 yards, marking his fourth consecutive 100-yard game to open the season. On defense, he delivered the game-winning play, forcing a crucial fumble at the goal line in overtime.

Hunter's dynamic impact continues to elevate Colorado’s success, leading to Meyer's bold statement on Big Noon Kickoff.

"I can't wait to watch UCF, but I really can't wait to watch arguably the best player in the game right now in Travis Hunter," Meyer said , prompting boos from the UCF crowd. "He's doing something unprecedented."

The only question Meyer had was if Hunter could maintain his hefty workload in the Florida humidity against the Knights.

"The thing I want to see — he ain't been in this humidity or heat," Meyer said. "Can he handle those 135 plays in this stadium?"

Meyer was reminded by his fellow analysts that Hunter grew up and played his high school football in Florida.

Hunter and Colorado are a two-touchdown underdog against UCF, per ESPN BET.
