Organizers explained that this is the second year they’ve held the event. They said that Johnstown has a large community of people interested in the paranormal.“I think it really gives the community something different. It's kind of like an add on the interest is there. The spiritual, paranormal community is growing,” said Leah Altemus with the expo.The expo also featured numerous guest speakers, including the stars of the Travel Channel’s show Mountain Monsters. Organizers said that visitors also had the chance to meet with and hear from various experts in the paranormal field on both Saturday and Sunday. One vendor, who runs his own cryptid-themed YouTube channel, said that he travels to different supernatural expos throughout the year.“There's a community certainly that has developed, and I like that. Being with like-minded individuals and all that. It's a good way to spread word about what I’m doing,” said Augie Macro.Visitors added that they’re happy to have events like this so close to home.Visitor Sandy O’Toole said, “It's good for people who don't want to drive a long distance that vendors are coming into the area to show their wares and entertain people in various ways.”Organizers say they’re thankful for the community support they’ve seen so far.The expo will continue through Sunday, September 29 from 10am-6pm.</div></body>
