Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore candidly addresses the absolute mess on offense following Minnesota win

Michigan may have won their game against Minnesota on Saturday, but it wasn't pretty.

After jumping out to a quick 21-0 lead in the first half thanks primarily to running back Kalel Mullings, Michigan completely stalled on offense. Alex Orji finished with a measly 86 passing yards, one touchdown, and an interception that nearly cost the Wolverines the game late. The team totaled just 108 yards in the entire second half.

When Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore was asked about his team's performance he didn't hesitate to address how awful things were all game long for the offense, saying:

"Coaches, players, we've got a lot of cleaning up to do, as a team, as a group to get better...You know, [Alex Orji]'s got those things he's got to get better [on]...We've got to go back to the drawing board and keep rolling."

Sherrone addressed a couple key things Orji specifically missed that immediately came to mind, and frankly could have been much more harsh on his team than he was. For the full quote from Sherrone Moore, you can check out Fox College Football's post below.

Michigan's offense actually started off the day strong on their first scripted drive. Alex Orji completed two of his 10 passes on the day on that first 79-yard drive that was capped off by a 27-yard Kalel Mullings touchdown. But then Michigan managed just 162 yards on their next 51 plays, good for one of most inefficient stretches of offense in recent Wolverines football history.

Michigan will now rank outside the Top 100 in yards per play and outside the Top 125 in passing yards per game. The offense is completely broken. Head coach Sherrone Moore knows it and said as much.

If it weren't for a blown offsides call late with the onside kick recovery, a blocked punt, and another clutch interception by Michigan's star-studded defense the Wolverines would have lost to a horrible Minnesota team. Will Coach Moore try to make a change at quarterback again? If not, there better be some other magical changes made by Moore and his coaching staff. Otherwise, he's going to have a short career leading the Wolverines.

Better look at your 3rd string QB. The first 2 can't seem to get anything done.
