PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have made two more arrests in the wake of a spate of numerous car meets last weekend in Philadelphia that led to violence and vandalism .

Police say 20-year-old Alexis Boyce of Englishtown, New Jersey, and 18-year-old Albert Woynar, of Pittsburgh, are charged with risking a catastrophe, fleeing police, criminal conspiracy and several misdemeanors. Woynar is also charged with a felony count of aggravated assault and one count of simple assault.

Police believe there were at least 11 car meets involving illegal street racing, drifting, and other reckless activities between the night of Sept. 21, and about 4 a.m. the next morning.

Some of the meets involved as many as 200 cars. Participants set off fireworks, started trash fires, and, in some cases, vandalized police cars.

Police say Boyce turned herself in to officers Friday and her Dodge Challenger is being held by police in New Jersey.

Woynar was arrested by state police and turned over to officers in Philadelphia.

On Thursday, police announced the arrest of two others involved in the meets .

Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding illegal activity at the car meets to call (215) 686-8477.
