Pizza Burger Recipe: Easy and Delicious!

This is a recipe that I enjoy making for my family. We had a family restaurant nearby that made a sandwich similiar to the this and they were so good, but unfortuantly they are no longer in business so I decided to make my own version. It is simple and really versatile to make. You will need the following ingredients:

Recipe:

1 package of sandwich rolls

1 pound of italian sausage, cooked

1 package of pepperoni

1 package of sandwich ham

1/2 of a bell pepper, sliced thinly

1/2 of a onion, sliced thinly

1 can of pizza sauce

8 oz of mozzerella cheese, shredded

Optional: Olives, banana peppers, mushrooms, beef, pineapple and etc.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Slice the sandwich buns in half and lay them flat on a baking sheet.

Add the pizza sauce to both sides of the bread or you can add butter and garlic powder to one side if you prefer that.

Add your favorite meat toppings to the bottom of the sandwich and then add the vegetables to the top.

Sprinkle the cheese over the bottom and the top halves and place the sandwiches into the oven.

Bake for 8 - 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Enjoy!

Note: You can make these sandwiches any way anyone likes them. I make each of mine different as everyone in the family likes their sandwiches to have something different.

I like the serve these pizza burgers with a side of plain potato chips and a kosher dill pickle spear, just like the restuarant served it to me.
