While many wrestling fans consider Nikkita Lyons to be a future star, her career has been seriously hindered in recent years by injury. However, after eight months on the sidelines, she returned to the ring during NXT’s Friday night house show in Davenport, Florida, where she teamed with Dante Chen against Izzi Dame & Jasper Troy. Still, somewhat worryingly, the 25-year-old was wearing two knee braces, which certainly isn’t a good sign for a long career, although hopefully, this is just a precaution.

Lyons began wrestling back in 2019 as part of the Women of Wrestling promotion under the name Faith The Lioness and just two years later signed with WWE. Despite her inexperience, she was fast-tracked onto NXT television and quickly became a prominent talent due to her good looks and charisma. And while injuries have caused her to lose a lot of her momentum, as Shawn Michaels previously described her as having the “ it factor ,” she appears likely to be given every opportunity to make it to the main roster.
