Shedeur Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes upset the UCF Knights on the road on Saturday, 48-21.

In a game that initially favored the home team by nearly two full touchdowns, Sanders and the Colorado offense posted 418 total yards and improved their record to 4-1, matching the team's 2023 win total in the process.

Sanders finished the contest with 290 passing yards, three touchdowns and an interception on 28-of-35 passing, adding 15 yards with his legs.

During his postgame media availability, the star signal-caller made a telling personal admission when asked about how he stays focused and eliminates the distractions that surround the program.

"I don't forget anything," Sanders told reporters, via CBS Colorado's Romi Bean . "I don't forget what anybody ever said. Personally, I'm not one to make friends or feel like because success is going on I'm gonna forgive everybody. Like, nah. Whatever you said at any point in time, I'm not really a forgiving type."

"That's how I am," he continued. "Dad's older, so he's more forgiving and he always tells me to be a little bit that way."

Through five games, Sanders has posted a 70.0 completion percentage to go along with 1,630 yards, 14 passing touchdowns and three interceptions.

Sanders and company will enjoy a bye in Week 6 before they return to Boulder, Colorado for a Week 7 home date against Kansas State.
