Deion Sanders Delivers Emotional Message to Colorado Players After Big Upset

Deion Sanders led Colorado to a statement win over UCF -- then sent an emotional message to his players.

The Buffaloes came into Saturday's game as 12.5-point underdogs, but left Central Florida with a 48-21 win and a three-game winning streak heading into a bye weekend next Saturday. Colorado has already matched last season's win total and strung together an impressive series of victories.

After the game, Sanders said it was an atypical week for his coaches and players as they had to travel to Florida early to get ahead of Hurricane Helene. But the Colorado coach added that it was helpful because it took away distractions and allowed his team to focus on the task at hand.

Sanders then shared some praise for the players, saying he was at a loss for words when describing the effort they had put in.

"I'm so proud of these young men, you have no idea," he said .

Sanders added that this was the most complete game for Colorado this season as they clicked on offense, defense and special teams.
