I don’t know why everyone is saying they are too young to know about how THEIR bodies work. I have 5 girls between the ages of 4-10 and they all know that they will have a period. They found my pads, tampons in my purse, suitcase, bathroom etc and they had questions. I tell them the truth in a way they can understand. I feel it’s better to talk to them now when they’re not embarrassed about their changing bodies. This way the conversation has already started and they will feel more comfortable with coming to me when the time arrives. However, my girls have never said they didn’t want to be girls.
