ESPN's "College GameDay" has been a crucial part of many fans' Saturdays during football season for a while now. This year, the show brought in former Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban to join Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee as an analyst.

Each week, the crew hits the road to broadcast the show from a different campus, usually for one of the top games. In Week 5 of the 2024 college football season, they found themselves in Saban's former home of Tuscaloosa as No. 4 Alabama hosted the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs.

During that game, "College GameDay" announced Week 6's location as the show will travel to Berkeley, California, for the battle between the California Golden Bears and the No. 7 Miami Hurricanes.

This will be the first time the popular show will head to Berkeley since it aired in 1987.

However, some fans think there may have been some better host options in Week 6, which includes No. 3 Ohio State vs. Iowa, South Carolina vs. No. 6 Ole Miss, Arkansas vs. No. 5 Tennessee, and a top-25 matchup between Texas A&M and Missouri.

These fans took to social media to leave their thoughts on "College GameDay's" decision.

"SMH… what could’ve been," one fan said.

"You’ve GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. GameDay is dead to me."

    "BOOOOOO"

"This would’ve 100% been Arkansas and Tennessee…. Pain."

    "wtf didn’t expect this lol"

"Umm. Couldn’t find a better game?"

On Friday, Miami escaped with a 38-34 win over the Virginia Tech Hokies after the officials overturned a Virginia Tech Hail Mary that was initially called a catch. They remain undefeated with a 5-0 record.

The Golden Bears have started the season better than expected, with a 3-1 record. Their only loss of the season came in Week 4 against the Florida State Seminoles, 14-9.
