    Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base rescheduled

    VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. —  SpaceX rescheduled Sunday's Falcon 9 launch of the OneWeb Launch 20 mission to low-Earth orbit Saturday evening, according to a VSFB Launch Alert.

    The new launch window was moved by SpaceX to next week no earlier than Tuesday, October 1st.

    The OneWeb Launch 20 mission carrying 20 satellites was slated for Sunday, Sep. 29th, at 11:54 p.m.

    "All launch dates and times are subject to change based on mission requirements," said SpaceX.

    SpaceX says nearby residents can expect a sonic boom upon landing back to base, but it will depend on weather and other conditions.

    A live webcast of the launch will begin about 10 minutes before liftoff here .

    After first-stage separation, the booster will return to Earth to land at Landing Zone 4 at Vandenberg Space Force Base as shown in the diagram below, courtesy of SpaceX.

    This will be the seventh flight for the first stage booster supporting the mission which previously launched the USSF-62 mission and five Starlink missions.
