Sooners' win probability at the beginning of the fourth quarter vs. Auburn was about as low as it could get

The Oklahoma Sooners just won a game they were not supposed to win. Their first SEC win, as magical as the ending was , was very sloppy. The first quarter, outside of the first offensive possession, was what every game has looked like so far this year.

The offense was not doing anything well, outside of Michael Hawkins Jr. making a few plays with his legs and just being a playmaker. The offensive line wasn't allowing Hawking any time in the pocket, the running game would stall, and anything else you could think of.

But, somehow, in the fourth quarter, the offense and the defense found a way. They call it "Sooner Magic," and head coach Brent Venables got his first taste of it as a head coach on Saturday.

It was so much so "Sooner Magic," that the Sooners actually had little to no shot of winning the game when the fourth quarter started. Or, better yet, when there were 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

According to Game on Paper, after Auburn running back Jarquez Hunter had a 22-yard run that happened with 11 minutes left in the game, the Tigers' win probability went to almost 97%, which means the Sooners had a little over a 3% chance to win the game.

But, what does this team continue to do? Win. They lost to Tennessee, cool, they bounced back. A win is a win, no matter how ugly it is.
