In April 2022, a former student of the Goddard Alternative School, the predecessor to Huntington Therapeutic Day School , reported to Brockton Police that she had a sexual relationship with a male teacher while she attended the school in and around 2013, according to p. 103 of the audit performed by the law firm Nystrom Beckman & Paris and commissioned by the city.

Twin brother of Stoughton cop accused of murder gives up law enforcement certification
William Farwell — a former Stoughton police officer and twin brother to the cop accused of murdering 23-year-old Sandra Birchmore — has agreed to permanently give up his Massachusetts law enforcement certification. On Sept. 24, William Farwell agreed to voluntary relinquish his own certification after an investigation revealed he lied about the extent of his relationship with Birchmore, according to the Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Commission.
