Life is a mix of sunshine and rain, and sometimes, a few grumpy faces, too. No matter where you travel, there's always someone having a bad day, but some cities seem to have a higher concentration of these crabapples—and Charlotte, North Carolina, is one of them.

Charlotte earned a spot on travel.alot.com's list of the nation's rudest cities. But before you judge, let’s cut Charlotte some slack.

This bustling hub hosts one of the busiest airports in the country. It's a place where patience often wears thin amid long lines, security checks, and delayed flights. Navigating through Charlotte Douglas International Airport can test even the most composed traveler.

But is it fair to label the entire city as grumpy just because of its chaotic airport? Not really. Charlotte is a lively city with much to offer—great food, Southern hospitality, and booming business. But, like any city, it has its share of frustrations, whether it’s heavy traffic or the fast-paced urban vibe.

So if you're headed to Charlotte, don’t forget to pack a sense of humor. It’ll help you blend right in with the locals—and maybe even dodge a few eye-rolls along the way!

seams Charlotte might be a sanctuary city...the immigrants that are there are more than the ones from up north...they act like their priviledged....
