I left the Gallatin Valley a few years ago to a small town where I bought a smaller residence for less than half of what it would have cost in Bozangeles. No universities, no airport and no interstate. Being retired, the lack of work doesn't affect me, but I feel so bad for my kids and grandkids stuck in Bozeman. Was there a month ago for a visit and I am so glad that I was able to get out of an area that was once a great place to live and raise a family.

We can thank our lovely City Commissioners for not regulating developers developing land zoned for affordable housing, instead letting them build high density luxury apartments no one, who's a local, can afford.
