Raiders Make Future Plans Regarding Trading Davante Adams Abundantly Clear

Speculation about Davante Adams and his future with the Las Vegas Raiders has been running rampant over the past couple of weeks.

Many fans have come to the conclusion that after the Raiders' loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 3 and Adams' sudden injury this week, the three-time All-Pro receiver may want out of Las Vegas.

While fans may think that Adams could be on the move, a recent report has confirmed the opposite. According to ESPN's NFL insider Adam Schefter, trading Adams is "not currently an option" for the Raiders. He also revealed that the Raiders have turned down multiple offers for Adams, and are not interested in moving him.

"The Raiders rejected multiple teams that approached them over the summer, inquiring whether Adams would be available in a trade, according to league sources," wrote Schefter. "

"The Raiders considered an Adams trade a nonstarter and turned away at least two teams before an offer could even be made."

The Raiders revealed that Adams would miss their Week 4 game against the Cleveland Browns due to a hamstring injury, which occurred during Thursday's practice. His absence marks the first time he will miss a game since 2021, when he missed one while playing for the Green Bay Packers.

With the Raiders currently sitting at 1-2 on the year and their quarterback situation between Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell in constant flux, it does feel fair to wonder if the Raiders would change their mind on trading Adams if things really fell off the rails.

According to ESPN BET , the Browns are 2.5-point favorites for Sunday's game as the Raiders will be without Adams and star pass rusher Maxx Crosby.
