"Is it plausible that he's got LeBron James doing something that he wouldn't want made public?” - Candace Owens asks why the "King" is silent on the Diddy issue

There's probably no one as controversial today as Sean John Combs, who goes by his stage name Diddy. The rapper has been under heavy fire since last year after being accused and recently arrested for serious charges, including sexual assault, harassment, and sex trafficking.

The cause celebre has affected LeBron James because of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar's supposed association with Diddy. Candace Owens, a political commentator who has long been critical of James, sent him a message because he has continued to stay silent about the subject.

"Where is LeBron James, who has elected himself the mayor of speaking out when nobody cares to hear his opinion?" Owens asked . "Because you're telling me that you use your platform to speak out when there are Black victims; there sure as hell seems to be a lot of them when it comes to Diddy."

"Hear me out," she continued. "Is it plausible the reason that LeBron James is opting to be so quiet is because when he read that lawsuit and realized that Diddy had cameras everywhere unbeknownst to his partygoers at these 'Freak Offs'? Is it plausible that he's got LeBron James doing something that he wouldn't want made public? I don't know. I'm just asking for the 'King' to use his platform to speak to us peasants."

    LeBron's relationship with Diddy

The Freak Offs Owens was referring to were the allegedly secret parties Combs hosted that apparently featured men and women prostitutes. Reports have it that these events involved the use of force or sedation to coerce sex workers into performing elaborate sexual performances to entertain guests, including celebrities.

According to a lawsuit filed against Diddy, the sexual encounters were recorded without the victims' permission. Among the supposed pieces of evidence that corroborate the accusations against him was the discovery of "more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant" after a raid of his residences earlier this year. These paraphernalia were allegedly used during the sex acts.

James' name hasn't appeared in any court document relating to Combs' case. However, a video of the four-time NBA MVP saying, "Ain't no party like a Diddy party," has resurfaced amid the controversy. His critics, such as Owens, have used it to inculpate LeBron in the crimes.

For his part, James has chosen not to talk about Diddy's affairs publicly, much like many of the other celebrities who have been said to have had ties with the embattled rapper.

    Owens' ammo against Bron

Whether or not LeBron speaks up on the matter, Owens would still probably not stop his mudslinging toward him. If he denies any association with Diddy, she'll likely just accuse him of lying.

Such has been the dynamic of the two, as the conservative commentator has always disagreed with almost everything James says, particularly his remarks about the political and social landscape in America. Owens once even described Bron as having a " low IQ ."

The four-time NBA champion, though, has refrained from addressing Candace's comments about him. Her opinion won't stop James from continuing to speak out about the issues that are close to his heart.
