I remember when I went to school kids tried to go the year without an absence. Whatever you did the last 30 years- undo it!! They’re kids, they learn by example. The participation trophies don’t work. Give them better goals and don’t let those who don’t off.

Maybe, just maybe do something about the excesive bulling, and fighting. The kids that want to learn can't and the ones that don't care are making it imposable for everyone else.
