Is Taylor Swift at the Chiefs-Chargers Game to Support Travis Kelce? Here's What We Know

As the Kansas City Chiefs prepared to take the field for the team’s fourth game of the 2024 NFL season on Sunday, Sept. 29, many fans who planned to watch at home were dying to know if Taylor Swift would be in attendance.

The 34-year-old pop superstar was at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., to cheer on her Chiefs tight end boyfriend, Travis Kelce , when the team kicked off the season on Sept. 5. She was back in her suite on Sept. 15 for the Chiefs-Cincinnati Bengals matchup, but missed the next game on Sept. 22.

As game time approached on Sunday, fans were disappointed in the lack of Swift sightings at the stadium. She still didn't appear to be in her suite when the Chiefs' fourth game officially began at 1:25 p.m. PT.

While Chiefs fans are loving the team’s three-game winning streak, Swifties tend to enjoy watching even more when the 14-time Grammy Award winner is in the audience. In addition to the mid-game views fans get of the “Cruel Summer” songstress during the NFL broadcasts, they also love to see the behind-the-scenes photos of Swift and others within the Chiefs Kingdom when they surface later.

Swift was able to attend the first two games of the 2024 season because she is currently on a break from her hit international Eras Tour , which wrapped up its European leg in August. She isn’t slated to go back out on the road until mid-October, with her first scheduled show taking place in Miami, Fla., on Oct. 18. That timing suggested Swift could have, in theory, attended Sunday’s game to watch the Chiefs take on the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

The “Fortnight” singer doesn’t tend to announce her game-day plans ahead of time, and didn’t for Sunday’s game. Fans had been hoping that her absence on Sept. 22 wouldn't be repeated—at least, not until her tour resumes.

After Sunday, there is one other upcoming game that Swift could possibly attend on Monday, Oct. 7. Cheering for Kelce in person will get more complicated after that for the “Shake It Off” singer to arrange until her Eras Tour comes to an end in early December.
