Matt LaFleur Penalized For Sideline Meltdown During Vikings-Packers

It's been an ugly day for the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

The home team was absolutely dominated by their division-rival Minnesota Vikings in the first half on Sunday afternoon, surrendering a 28-7 deficit heading into the halftime break.

The Packers scored their first touchdown of the day just before the conclusion of the second quarter. But to do so, the offense had to overcome a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty called against head coach Matt LaFleur.

LaFleur attempted to call a timeout, but it took longer than he liked for the officials to notice. The sixth-year Green Bay coach responded with a sideline meltdown, ripping off his headset and screaming at the referees.

The Packers were able to score despite this 15-yard penalty. In his first game back from injury, Green Bay QB Jordan Love connected with Jayden Reed for the team's first score of the game.

Love finished the first half with 118 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions on 12/24 passing. Sam Darnold recorded 136 yards and three touchdowns on 11/15 passing for the Vikings.
